The Ortofon VNL TRIX High Output DJ Cartridge delivers powerful performance for DJs who demand dependable tracking during demanding live sets. Its 10 mV output produces strong signal levels, while the spherical diamond stylus maintains consistent groove contact during scratching, back-cueing, and energetic turntable techniques during live performances. Furthermore, the rigid aluminium cantilever and Ortofon exclusive stylus suspension create a durable platform for professional DJ performance on demanding stages. The cartridge achieves 100 μm tracking ability at 315 Hz, helping the stylus resist skipping while maintaining controlled playback during aggressive performance techniques. Its 4.0 gram recommended tracking force supports confident handling across professional DJ applications with confidence daily. Moreover, the fluorescent white stylus improves visibility under ultraviolet lighting, allowing DJs to locate the stylus more easily during dark booths and busy stage environments. This practical design detail supports quicker cueing and more controlled beatmatching, especially when DJs perform rapid scratches, back-cues, and other hands-on techniques during live performances. The VNL TRIX also provides a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response within ±3 dB, supporting a broad playback range for professional DJ systems used for club and turntablism. Its 22 dB channel separation at 1 kHz contributes to defined stereo playback, while the quad-coil system and OFC coil wire support the cartridge’s high-output design. Additionally, the Ortofon VNL TRIX High Output DJ Cartridge remains fully compatible with the wider VNL cartridge family, allowing DJs to change compatible styli according to their preferred performance approach. The black cartridge body weighs 7 grams, while the replaceable Stylus VNL TRIX provides a practical option for maintaining cartridge performance during demanding DJ sessions.

Delivery Exclusions

PLEASE NOTE:

Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)

If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:

Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.

Please be assured that we only request an additional freight contribution in exceptional circumstances where the courier cost is substantially higher than normal. Our goal is always to deliver your order at the advertised price whenever possible.

If you’re unsure whether an item may be affected, you’re welcome to contact us before placing your order and we’ll gladly provide a delivery estimate.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support!
