The Ortofon VNL DANCE ON SH2 Black Universal Headshell Premounted combines powerful output, precise groove tracing, and dependable tracking for DJs who demand consistent vinyl playback during demanding sessions. Factory-mounted on the SH-2 Black universal headshell, it provides a convenient setup while supporting turntables equipped with standard SME bayonet tonearm connections. Furthermore, the elliptical diamond stylus traces records precisely, revealing sharper details and fuller sound while maintaining the energetic character expected from a DJ cartridge. The rigid aluminium cantilever works with Ortofon’s exclusive suspension system, helping the stylus remain stable when DJs apply demanding techniques. With 10 mV of output voltage, the Ortofon VNL DANCE ON SH2 Black Universal Headshell Premounted delivers a strong signal that provides powerful playback across compatible vinyl systems. Its 100 μm tracking ability helps maintain groove contact during scratching, back-cueing, and other demanding techniques that require dependable stylus control. Additionally, the 22 dB channel separation and 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response support detailed stereo reproduction across varied musical material. The recommended 4.0 gram tracking force provides a defined setup reference, while the 12 μm/mN dynamic lateral compliance complements the cartridge’s performance-focused design. The neon-yellow fluorescent stylus adds visibility under UV lighting, making the stylus easier to identify when DJs work in darker booths or performance environments. Moreover, the VNL DANCE stylus remains compatible with the VNL cartridge system, allowing users to replace the stylus without replacing the cartridge. The SH-2 Black headshell uses glass-fibre-reinforced polymer construction, while its lightweight 9.3 gram design supports handling with compatible S-shaped or J-shaped tonearms. Overall, this premounted combination brings together high output, elliptical groove tracing, robust construction, and straightforward installation for DJs and vinyl listeners.

Delivery Exclusions

PLEASE NOTE:

Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)

If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:

Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.

Please be assured that we only request an additional freight contribution in exceptional circumstances where the courier cost is substantially higher than normal. Our goal is always to deliver your order at the advertised price whenever possible.

If you’re unsure whether an item may be affected, you’re welcome to contact us before placing your order and we’ll gladly provide a delivery estimate.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support!
