The Ortofon STYLUS VNL II Rigid-Suspension Replacement Stylus provides a replacement stylus for compatible VNL Series cartridges. It gives DJs a rigid suspension option for demanding vinyl performance. Furthermore, the VNL system allows DJs to interchange three styli with different suspension characteristics. The Ortofon STYLUS VNL II Rigid-Suspension Replacement Stylus features 15 μm/mN dynamic lateral compliance, which provides its specified rigid suspension feel. This design gives DJs a controlled response during active turntable performance. Additionally, the spherical stylus profile supports reliable contact with the record groove during playback. The stylus produces 6 mV output at 1 kHz and 5 cm/sec for compatible cartridge applications. Therefore, it delivers a strong signal for DJ equipment and vinyl playback systems. It also provides 20 dB channel separation at 1 kHz for consistent stereo performance. The VNL II offers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with a -2/+4 dB specification. Consequently, it covers the audible frequency range required for vinyl playback. Its 90 μm tracking ability at 315 Hz further supports dependable groove tracking during performance. Moreover, the stylus supports a 3 to 5 g tracking force range for flexible setup options. Ortofon recommends a 4 g tracking force for the VNL II. This range allows DJs to configure their turntable according to their preferred performance setup. Because the VNL II works within the interchangeable VNL system, DJs can change compatible styli easily. This approach allows performers to select a suspension feel that suits their technique. Ultimately, the VNL II provides a practical replacement option for VNL cartridge users. It combines rigid suspension characteristics, dependable tracking, and DJ-focused specifications in one replacement stylus.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)
If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:
- Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
- Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
- Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.
