Protection
Internally, a full suite of protection circuitry includes thermal, over-current, DC, short circuit protection, and power on/off mute. This level of protection ensures long-term system reliability and peace of mind should the worst ever happen. Front panel LEDs also keep the sound engineer well informed with fault, peak, and signal LEDs.The variable speed fans keep the amplifier rack quiet when not in use – and cool while it’s running at high volume.
Modes and Switches
The DP Series feature stereo, bridge, and mono modes. Use in bridge mode with an individual high-powered subwoofer or use a single DP to power your whole sound system equally. Mono mode saves external cabling by splitting a single input to feed both channels of the amplifier. In addition, gains can easily be controlled by the rear panel gain switch. This allows for installation into almost any rig or venue. The DP-2200 features XLR inputs with a maximum input level of +22dBu allowing for integration with any typical professional audio system.
Design
The 1U design allows for powerful systems to be configured in extremely confined spaces. In the tour rack or in the amp room, DP delivers reliable power from a small box. Lightweight, powerful and portable. It’s that simple!
