The AKG C555L is a cardioid, condenser head-worn microphone with a comfortable, adjustable band that is designed to wrap around the neck. The lightweight design not only allows for comfortable long-term use, it keeps the microphone hidden from view. The capsule features a tonal and sensitivity response optimized for speech.

The cardioid polar pattern eliminates off-axis noise and feedback while the wide frequency response and sensitive capsule result in smooth, accurate vocal reproduction. The C555L features an adjustable gooseneck and the cable terminates to a mini-XLR connection. The mini-XLR connection is compatible with the B29L battery power supply, MPA VL phantom power adapter and PT40/PT400 wireless bodypack transmitters. The microphone is powered with 9 to 52 volts phantom power and is an ideal choice for presentations, speeches, narration and more.

Delivery Exclusions

PLEASE NOTE:

Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)

If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:

Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.

Please be assured that we only request an additional freight contribution in exceptional circumstances where the courier cost is substantially higher than normal. Our goal is always to deliver your order at the advertised price whenever possible.
