Requiring no power supply, the DJDI can conveniently operate in situations where phantom power is not available without needing battery changes to power active electronics found in some DI boxes. A built-in ground-lift switch can help avoid noise from ground loops. Another feature on the DJDI is the input attenuator which prevents overloading from high-level signals.
