Developed for the Elektro cartridge, the stylus combines strong tracking with excellent sound quality. Furthermore, its reinforced rubber suspension supports dependable performance during active DJ sessions and demanding turntable techniques. The Elektro uses a spherical stylus designed for reliable groove tracking during playback. Its R 18 μm stylus tip radius supports consistent contact with records during mixing and scratching. The STYLUS ELEKTRO delivers a powerful 7.5 mV output at 1 kHz and 5 cm/sec. Therefore, it provides high output performance suited to professional DJ applications and demanding sound environments. Its 80 μm tracking ability at 315 Hz supports accurate groove handling during performance. Additionally, the spherical stylus maintains dependable tracking when DJs combine mixing with scratching techniques. The reinforced rubber suspension adds durability while supporting consistent stylus movement during repeated use. As a result, the Elektro provides a practical hybrid solution for DJs who require versatility. The stylus supports a tracking force range from 3.0 to 5.0 g. Ortofon recommends a 4.0 g tracking force for reliable operation and consistent tracking performance. Its 20° tracking angle supports appropriate stylus positioning during record playback. Meanwhile, the 750 Ohm internal impedance works with a recommended 47 kOhm load resistance. The STYLUS ELEKTRO also supports recommended load capacitance between 200 and 600 pF. Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.
We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)
If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:
- Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
- Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
- Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.
