The Epiphone ETCC-VS Casino Coupe Vintage Sunburst:Â
The Epiphone ETCC-VS Casino Coupe Vintage Sunburst delivers the iconic sound of the classic Casino in a more compact, ES-339 body size. This model retains the hollowbody design but is 10% smaller, making it highly comfortable to play. The Casino Coupe features Epiphone's renowned Dogear P-90T Classic™ single-coil pickups, which provide that signature bright, punchy tone. The layered maple body and top contribute to the guitar's resonant sound and classic look. A slim, comfortable SlimTaper™ D-profile neck, crafted from mahogany, enhances playability and adds to the instrument’s vintage charm.
The fretboard, made of Pau Ferro, is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid parallelogram inlays, ensuring smooth playability and a touch of elegance. The guitar's bridge is an Epiphone LockToneâ„¢ Tune-O-Matic, while the traditional trapeze tailpiece, now reduced in size, supports precise tuning and tone stability. Vintage-style gold metal tuning machines with pointers further enhance its classic appearance.
Additionally, the Casino Coupe includes a 2-ply white/black pickguard adorned with a metal "E," maintaining its vintage appeal. The truss rod cover, shaped like a bell and featuring a two-layer black/white design, complements the guitar's retro aesthetic. For control, it includes two volume and two tone knobs, as well as a three-way pickup selector switch.
The Epiphone Casino Coupe's design ensures versatility, making it ideal for various genres, from jazz to rock. The combination of its smaller body, high-quality components, and classic styling delivers both exceptional performance and visual appeal. This guitar is available in Cherry, Vintage Sunburst, and new Turquoise finishes, allowing players to choose a look that fits their style. An optional 339-type hard case or EpiLiteâ„¢ case provides protection during transport.
