The Ortofon CC MKII DJ Concorde MKII DJ Cartridge delivers versatile performance for DJs across different musical styles. It combines accurate sound reproduction, reliable tracking, and excellent groove handling for demanding vinyl performances. Furthermore, its spherical diamond stylus maintains consistent contact with the record groove during active DJ techniques. The aluminium cantilever adds rigidity, helping the cartridge maintain controlled movement while tracking records. Consequently, DJs can rely on consistent performance during mixing, scratching, back-cueing, and general vinyl playback. The cartridge delivers a balanced 6 mV output at 1 kHz and 5 cm/sec for clear signal reproduction. Additionally, its 22 dB channel separation supports defined stereo information across the audible spectrum. The cartridge achieves 100 μm tracking ability at 315 Hz, providing dependable groove tracking during demanding performances. Moreover, Ortofon recommends a 4 g tracking force within the available 3–5 g tracking force range. This configuration supports the cartridge’s intended DJ applications while maintaining controlled stylus movement across records. The spherical diamond stylus features an R 18 μm tip radius for dependable groove contact. Therefore, the Concorde MKII DJ balances accurate reproduction with the tracking characteristics DJs need during live performances. Its 18.5 g construction also provides a practical solution for compatible turntables using the Bayonet/SME mounting system. Meanwhile, the cartridge’s 700 Ohm internal impedance and 450 mH internal inductance complement its specified electrical characteristics. The recommended 47 kOhm load resistance and 200–600 pF load capacitance further define its operating requirements. Finally, DJs can replace the stylus with the dedicated Stylus CC MKII DJ when required. Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.
We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)
If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:
- Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
- Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
- Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.
