The SP 4BX 2×15″ Quasi 3-Way Speaker System from Peavey is comprised of two 15″ Black Widow BWX SF 4000W woofers and an RX22 2″ titanium diaphragm compression driver. It features a constant directivity horn and utilizes Quadratic Throat Waveguide technology.

The SP 4BX speakers input connection is made via a pair of 1/4″ phone jack connectors in parallel with a 4-position screw terminal strip. Its passive crossover includes the Peavey Sound Guard tweeter protection circuit in the high frequency driver signal path.

The speaker is enclosed with Hardwood panel coated with Peavey’s heavy-duty HammerHead finish. It is constructed with a perforated steel metal grille to protect the unit from external moisture and dust. The SP 4BX speaker system has a trapezoidal shaped enclosure, which is designed to reduce the build-up of standing waves and minimizes mid-bass and mid-range coloration. This unit features 4 rubber feet on the bottom for floor use.

Note: This unit is not designed for overhead suspension.
