The Shure BETA®87A is a premium quality supercardioid hand-held electret condenser vocal microphone with exceptionally smooth frequency response and high sound pressure level capability. Used for professional sound reinforcement, broadcasting, and studio recording applications, the Beta 87A combines superb performance with the ruggedness needed for touring and field production.

The Beta 87A features a controlled low-frequency roll-off that compensates for proximity effect and prevents the “boomy” sound often associated with close pick-up. The characteristic Shure presence rise brightens the upper midrange. The tight supercardioid pattern, with null points at approximately 125 degrees, provides maximum isolation from other vocalists or instruments while offering minimal off-axis coloration. The Beta 87A operates on phantom power.

PLEASE NOTE:

Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)

If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:

Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.
