The Audio-Technica AE2500 Dual-element Cardioid Instrument Microphone redefines microphone technology. This innovative design features both condenser and dynamic elements in one housing. The dynamic element captures the beater's aggressive attack, while the condenser records the drum shell's warm tonalities. This configuration positions both elements in perfect phase, a feat difficult with separate microphones. Built robustly, the AE2500 is dependable on the road, making it ideal for live performances and studio use.

It includes an integral 80 Hz high-pass filter and a 10 dB pad, enhancing the microphone's versatility. The isolation clamp ensures shock protection, allowing secure mounting and easy positioning. Additionally, the AE2500 features a 16.5-foot (5 m) cable with a 5-pin XLRF connector that splits into two standard 3-pin XLRM connectors. This setup enables separate control over each element for optimal sound shaping. Engineered for superior performance, this microphone helps musicians and sound engineers achieve clarity and precision.

The AE2500 is the ultimate choice for kick-drum recording. It perfectly suits drummers, sound engineers, and studio musicians. Its unique design and advanced features make it a versatile tool in any audio setup.

In conclusion, the Audio-Technica AE2500 Dual-element Cardioid Instrument Microphone stands out as a remarkable tool for any audio professional. Its innovative dual-element design, combining both dynamic and condenser technologies, delivers unparalleled sound quality for kick-drum recording and other instruments. The microphone's robust construction ensures reliability in live and studio settings. With features like an 80 Hz high-pass filter, a 10 dB pad, and a convenient isolation clamp, the AE2500 offers exceptional versatility and performance. Musicians and sound engineers will appreciate its ability to capture sound with clarity, making it an essential addition to any audio setup.

Delivery Exclusions

PLEASE NOTE:

Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)

If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:

Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.

Please be assured that we only request an additional freight contribution in exceptional circumstances where the courier cost is substantially higher than normal. Our goal is always to deliver your order at the advertised price whenever possible.

If you’re unsure whether an item may be affected, you’re welcome to contact us before placing your order and we’ll gladly provide a delivery estimate.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support!
