The Ortofon CC MKII ELITE Concorde MKII Elite Cartridge is a premium Moving Magnet cartridge designed for listeners who demand exceptional vinyl playback. Building on the respected Concorde MkII Series, the ELITE introduces several component upgrades that raise its overall sound quality. Therefore, it combines Ortofon’s established Concorde design with technologies normally associated with high-fidelity cartridges. At the centre of the design, the Nude Elliptical diamond delivers precise groove tracing and detailed sound reproduction. Its slim profile follows groove oscillations accurately while extracting intricate musical information. Furthermore, its smaller moving mass helps improve the cartridge’s ability to reproduce fine details. Ortofon specifically designed this stylus for listening rather than heavy back-cueing or scratching. The stylus sits on a rigid aluminium cantilever that provides a stable connection between the diamond and internal armature. Consequently, the cantilever supports accurate tracing while maintaining the strength required for consistent playback. Ortofon also developed a specialised Coil System that transfers the diamond’s movements efficiently, producing a powerful and full-bodied output. Additionally, the Ortofon CC MKII ELITE Concorde MKII Elite Cartridge uses a specially moulded stylus body with real gold plating. This construction gives the cartridge its distinctive Black and Gold appearance while complementing the familiar Concorde profile. The newly developed rubber suspension further supports tracking performance and helps control unwanted brightness during playback. With an 8.5 mV output voltage and 25 dB channel separation, the ELITE provides a strong signal alongside detailed stereo reproduction. Moreover, its 100 μm tracking ability and recommended 3.0 g tracking force support reliable vinyl playback. Overall, the Concorde MKII ELITE brings together refined cartridge engineering, premium materials, and detailed vinyl performance.

Delivery Exclusions

PLEASE NOTE:

Some products are exceptionally large, heavy or bulky and require specialist freight services. This typically includes items such as large PA speakers, dual 15″ speaker cabinets, dual 18″ subwoofers, flight cases and other oversized or very heavy equipment.

We work hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible and, in most cases, delivery is completely covered by our standard shipping rates. However, for certain oversized items being delivered to regional or outlying areas, the actual courier cost can be significantly higher than standard deliveries. This is also owing to factors completely outside of our control (petrol costs and rising costs of delivery by courier partners)

If this applies to your order, we will always contact you before dispatch to discuss the available options. These may include:

Proceeding with a small additional freight contribution.
Collecting the order from one of our suppliers or a nearby courier depot where available.
Cancelling the order for a full refund if a suitable solution cannot be reached.

Please be assured that we only request an additional freight contribution in exceptional circumstances where the courier cost is substantially higher than normal. Our goal is always to deliver your order at the advertised price whenever possible.

If you’re unsure whether an item may be affected, you’re welcome to contact us before placing your order and we’ll gladly provide a delivery estimate.

Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support!
